  • 4 cups water
  • 4 garlic cloves roughly sliced
  • 1 sheet nori
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce/gluten-free tamari
  • 1/2 tbsp dried mushroom powder (shiitake, porcini)


  1. Add all ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a boil.

  2. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer until your broth is reduced by half.

  3. Refrigerate in an air tight container/jar for 24 hours. It's ready to use!
