Peruvian Aji Chilli Sauce Recipe

Aji sauce is a unique tasting, punch-packed and glistening green chilli sauce used in a variety of Peruvian cuisine. Spicy, creamy and addictive!

Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine lettuce washed and sliced
  • 1 generous handful fresh coriander
  • 5 spring onions roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup vegan mayo
  • 2 jalapeno/green chillies deseeded
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Throw all ingredients into a blender (with a very small splash of water) and blitz until a creamy consistency is formed.

Recipe Notes

  • Add small amounts of water at a time if your mixture fails to completely blend
