Peruvian Aji Chilli Sauce Recipe
Aji sauce is a unique tasting, punch-packed and glistening green chilli sauce used in a variety of Peruvian cuisine. Spicy, creamy and addictive!
- 1 head romaine lettuce washed and sliced
- 1 generous handful fresh coriander
- 5 spring onions roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup vegan mayo
- 2 jalapeno/green chillies deseeded
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Throw all ingredients into a blender (with a very small splash of water) and blitz until a creamy consistency is formed.
- Add small amounts of water at a time if your mixture fails to completely blend
